Booking terms
the fine print, plainly.
- Requests
- sessions are booked by request. you sign the session agreement and save a card; nothing is charged until syd accepts. if she declines, nothing is charged at all.
- Deposits
- when syd accepts, a 50% deposit (or retainer for weddings and campaigns) is charged and reserves your date, time and studio. after acceptance it's non-refundable because it covers the studio rental and the hold on syd's calendar.
- Balance
- by booking you authorize the remaining balance to be charged to the card saved at checkout when your gallery is delivered. if that charge fails, the balance is due within 7 days from your client suite.
- Rescheduling
- one free reschedule with at least 72 hours' notice, from your client suite. later changes are at syd's discretion and may require a new deposit.
- Cancellations
- cancelling forfeits the deposit. if syd must cancel for illness or emergency, you'll be offered a new date or a full refund.
- Lateness
- sessions start and end at the booked time because studios are rented by the hour. late arrivals shorten the session.
- Delivery & downloads
- proofs and finals are delivered through your private client suite. full-resolution downloads unlock once the balance is paid.
- Usage
- personal sessions include a personal-use license (portfolio, casting, social, press about you). commercial usage is licensed per project in campaign proposals. every session includes permission for syd to share images in her portfolio, website and social media.
- Payments
- processed securely by Stripe. SYDPO never sees or stores your card number.
