What should I wear?+
solid colors, textures over patterns, and pieces you actually feel good in. after booking, your suite has a wardrobe guide specific to your session, and syd is happy to look over options with you before the shoot.
Do you do theatrical and commercial looks?+
yes. every session includes 3 outfits and 3 backdrops, so you can cover a theatrical, a commercial and a third look of your choice.
Can I get my makeup done?+
yes. add professional makeup (from $150) while booking. it's highly recommended for beauty shoots. you're also welcome to bring your own artist.
What's the difference from a beauty shoot?+
same session, same price. headshots and beauty are both close ups only. need full length too? that's the portfolio building session.
How does booking work?+
you request a time and sign the session agreement, then save a card with Stripe. nothing is charged until syd confirms your request, usually within one business day. then 50% reserves your session and the rest is charged automatically when your gallery is delivered.
Where is the shoot?+
studio sessions are in a professional rental studio in manhattan or brooklyn; syd confirms which one when she accepts your request, and the address lands in your client suite. portrait sessions happen on location.
Can I reschedule?+
yes. reschedule once at no charge with at least 72 hours' notice from your client suite. inside 72 hours the deposit covers the studio and the hold on syd's time.
How do I get my photos?+
in a private gallery in your client suite. heart your favorites, submit your picks for retouching, and download full-resolution files once your balance is settled.
